NEW APPOINTMENT SCHEDULING POLICY – SET YOUR OWN APPOINTMENT ON HANDSHAKE!
Students:
Students can now schedule their own appointments with Career Services staff directly on Handshake! Simply visit https://uic.joinhandshake.com/ and log into your account. If you haven’t used Handshake before, you can log in to claim your account using your University credentials.
Once you’re in the account, click on the “Career Center” tab in the upper left-hand corner and it will take you to the page where you can click on “Appointments” and select the topic, date, and time.
After that, you’ll receive an email confirmation with a Zoom link for the session. If you would like a resume or cover letter review, just have those materials ready for the session. For other topics, it would be helpful to come with a list of questions or issues you’d like to discuss with the advisor.
Alumni:
UIC Alumni can now schedule their own appointments with Career Services staff directly on Handshake! Simply visit https://uic.joinhandshake.com/ to create a brand new account, if you haven’t already created one.
