The University of Illinois at Chicago’s (UIC) First Destination initiative is conducted annually to gather information about the career outcomes of UIC bachelor’s degree graduates outcomes within six months of their graduation. Each annual survey provides insight on what a sample of UIC graduates are doing with their bachelor’s degrees (“career outcomes”) including employment, continuing education, volunteer service, and U.S. military service following graduation.

The University of Illinois at Chicago’s (UIC) Class of 2017 First Destination initiative provided insights to career outcomes of bachelor’s degree graduates outcomes within six months of their graduation. The “Journey to Success: Class of 2017 Career Outcomes” brochure highlights those outcomes as well as summarizes UIC’s programs and resources (e.g., research opportunities, internships, student employment, career events) available to students in supporting their journeys to success.
