Carol holds a B.A. in American Studies from Scripps College, Claremont, California and a J.D. from IIT/Chicago-Kent College of Law. In addition to practicing law, Carol has taught paralegal studies courses. Before joining the UIC Office of Student Employment in July 2015, Carol served as the Director of College Advising at two Chicago area independent schools for 17 years, helping high school students navigate the college admission/application process. She previously worked at UIC from 1995-1997. In her free time, Carol enjoys practicing and teaching yoga, pilates, swimming and water aerobics, and attending local theater and cultural events. She has two adult sons.
