Arts Intern Program (Studio Institute) Info Session – Paid Museum & Arts Internships

Applications for Arts Intern 2021 are open! The Arts Intern program has been offering paid internships at museums and cultural institutions for over 20 years. We help pair financial aid-dependent college students with positions at arts and cultural organizations, where they gain real-world experience and forge professional relationships.
Participating Chicago institutions include the Museum of Contemporary Art, Field Museum, Museum of Science and Industry, and more. Positions are available in a range of departments including Curatorial, Collections, Education, Design, and Marketing.

PAID INTERNSHIPS FOR CHICAGO STUDENTS
Gain career experience at a museum or other cultural organization in Chicago this summer.
• $15 per hour over 9 weeks
• 4 days per week of immersive, hands-on work
• 1 day per week of exclusive educational programming
• Remote and in-person internships available
EXPERIENCE MUSEUM PROFESSIONS:
• Enhance your professional skills; learn new ones.
• Complete meaningful work as a member of a team.
• Internships are available in departments such as:curatorial, collections, marketing, education, and archives.

AM I ELIGIBLE?
Eligible students must be full-time juniors or seniors with
high financial need. Students must be residents of, or
