The Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago (MWRD) is the government agency that treats wastewater and manages stormwater for the Chicago region. The District employs over 200 different Civil Service job titles across the following departments: Engineering, Finance, General Administration, Human Resources, Information Technology, Law, Maintenance and Operations, Monitoring and Research, Procurement, and Treasury.
